On July 20th, 2024, Kegs Wedding Films embarked on a delightful journey to Deaux Run Vineyard & Venue in Perkinston, Mississippi. Our day began with an early start, as we woke up at 5:30 a.m. to pack the car and prepare for an exciting day ahead.
A Warm Welcome and Stunning Surroundings
Upon our arrival at Deaux Run Vineyard & Venue, we were warmly greeted by the owners. As a family-owned establishment, their dedication to creating memorable events was immediately evident. The venue, set on six picturesque acres, offers a breathtaking countryside backdrop that's perfect for any occasion. The private vineyard, adorned with luscious muscadine grapes, adds a unique and charming touch to the setting.
The owners provided us with a thorough tour, showcasing their air-conditioned indoor space, which comfortably accommodates up to 150 guests. Additionally, the expansive outdoor areas can host up to 300 guests, making this venue versatile for both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations. Everywhere we looked, stunning scenic views provided an abundance of picture-perfect backdrops for exchanging vows or capturing cherished family photos.

Connecting with Fellow Vendors
Once we set up our booth for the wedding expo, we had the pleasure of connecting with many talented vendors. It was wonderful to catch up with Katie Rose Studio, whose beautiful artwork we featured in last week’s blog post. It was fantastic to see Katie in action, capturing couples’ portraits right at the expo. Her artistic flair continues to impress, and it was a joy to share the event with her.
We also had the opportunity to meet SugaringNYC from Gulfport, who introduced us to their alternative waxing options. Their innovative techniques are a fantastic addition to any bridal beauty routine.
Another highlight of the day was the bridal show hosted by Bella Grace Bridal and Formal from Wiggins, MS. Their elegant showcase provided wonderful inspiration and highlighted the latest trends in bridal fashion.
Additionally, we enjoyed delicious offerings from two amazing food truck vendors, adding a fun and flavorful element to the day’s events.
We were also thrilled to meet Quiera and DaMeka with Glowing Embers Candle Studio from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. We're super excited to share details about a special collaboration we’re brewing up with them. Stay tuned for more information!
A Heartfelt Farewell
As the expo drew to a close, the Deaux Run Vineyard & Venue owners made sure to visit every booth personally. They expressed their gratitude for our participation and presented us with some delightful Deaux Run swag. Their thoughtful gesture added a personal touch to an already memorable visit.
